New York – For me, this metropolis conjures up images of sleek skyscrapers, typical suit-donning businessmen and lawyers (think Harvey Specter from the TV series Suits), yellow cabs, the lush and eye-pleasingly symmetrical Central Park, an amalgamation of diverse food and cultures, and an overall air of sophistication.
I strongly believe in the power of words – how they lift, inspire and motivate. And I believe in travel; for the very same reasons, plus how it enhances your life, mind and soul. So, I’ve compiled a list of my personal favorite travel quotes.
I love dramatic landscapes; and during my first visit to the United States last month, I was treated to a visual feast of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, on a scenic helicopter ride from Las Vegas.
A couple of weeks back, I got an opportunity to spend a night at a hotel that I’ve long admired. I’m constantly proud of the brilliance in service and pleased with the quality of luxury hotels in the city I was born and grew up in, and the St. Regis Bangkok just further enforced that feeling.
I don’t often participate in travel competitions but the Thomas Cook Explore the Elements photo blogging challenge seemed like an amazing one. I got a chance to browse through photographs from my travels and publish 4 that best capture the essence of nature’s 4 elements – Earth, Water, Fire and Air.
One of the things I love about travel is getting to see unique cultural and architectural wonders around the globe. I had seen various pictures of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque before, but in real, it wowed me even more than expected.
