Fabulous Food Quotes

Without ice cream, there would be darkness and chaos. – Don KardongYou can’t just eat good food. You’ve got to talk about it too. And you’ve got to talk about it to somebody who understands that kind of food.” – A quote by Kurt Vonnegut that I very much relate to. It explains a great deal as to why I love sharing my passion for food and tasty discoveries.

Sharing my 'passion'

Sharing my ‘passion’

My love affair with food is no secret. I am hungry most of the time, and when I’m not hungry, I wait till I am so I can eat again. Yep, it’s an intense and passionate relationship.

Food plays a big role in our lives. Apart from the obvious survival factor, it’s a highlight of the day for many. It’s the essence of a country and an important part of travel, culture and personal connection.

Go ahead, grab a snack (or three), sit back and enjoy some of these fabulous quotations about food. I’ve added few of them to pictures I’ve taken too. Have you seen our “Food for Thought” series on http://turtlestravel.com? I think it might be right up your alley, discussing food, travel and culture with a new interview each week! Kurt Vonnegut’s stole the limelight here. Its so true, sometimes food is so great but when u cant discuss it or share that passion with someone that understands it too, it can get a little frustrating.. You would rather talk to someone that responds with “ya!!!! I love it too! Absolutely delicious!” Rather than “umm, i would never try anything like that”

    • Nita Apr 17 at 6:59 pm Reply

Yeah, I get what you mean.. Hehe! That’s why I just had to start with that quote :) Thanks for dropping by, Reetika!
